Delete account & data

Last updated: 11 September 2026

This is a translation for convenience. The Indonesian version is the one that governs; where the two differ, the Indonesian text prevails.

You have the right to ask for your Sawargi account and personal data to be deleted. This page explains how, and what happens afterwards.

How to make the request

Option 1 — through your community committee

The quickest route. Ask the committee (the chair, or whoever manages residents) to deactivate your membership, or to delete your account from the resident-management menu in the app.

Option 2 — directly to us

Email support@furontorumu.id with:

  • the subject Account Deletion Request;
  • the email address you sign in with;
  • the name of your community (RT / RW / paguyuban / cluster);
  • whether you want to deactivate or delete your data.

We verify that the request came from the account holder before acting on it, and respond within 30 days.

The request has to come from the account's own email address. That is what stops someone else deleting your account.

What is deleted

  • Identity and contact details: name, email, phone number, profile photo;
  • Sign-in credentials (your authentication account is removed so it can no longer be used). If you use the same account in more than one community, the credentials remain while they are still in use elsewhere — what is deleted is your membership of the community you asked about;
  • Your device notification tokens;
  • Personal content you created: marketplace listings, your business profile, and reports to the committee (on request);
  • Your link to a house as an active occupant.

What is kept, and why

Some records cannot be deleted in full because they are the community's books rather than your personal data alone:

  • Community financial records — dues payments, cash income and expenses, and the reports built on them. These are needed for the community's books to stay whole and accountable to every resident. The link to your personal identity can be removed or anonymised.
  • The audit trail — for actions taken by committee members, kept as a record of accountability, and separable from your identity.
  • Data we are required to keep under applicable law, for as long as the law requires.

House occupancy data (block, number, status) is community data and remains even once you are no longer a registered occupant.

Deleting an entire community's data

If you are on the committee and want to end the service and delete all of the community's data, the request must come from the community's chair, by the email above. We confirm it, offer a copy of the data if you want one, and then delete it.

Deactivating without deleting

If you only want to stop using the app for a while, ask for deactivation. The account can no longer sign in, but the committee can reactivate it later without losing any history.
